Peer And Individual Mentoring Program
GMG's core mentorship model, pairing mentors and mentees in a confidential, judgment-free relationship built on trust and sisterhood.
Peer mentoring is the heart of Girls Mentor Girls. Every mentee is paired with a dedicated mentor for one-on-one and peer mentoring, inside a confidential, judgment-free environment where girls can share their experiences at their own pace.
Mentors and mentees make contact at least once a week, and mentees spend a minimum of five hours a month with their mentor between individual and peer sessions. The minimum relationship commitment is one year — GMG's goal is for every mentoring relationship to last through high school graduation.
