Girls Mentor Girls is recruiting female-identifying young girls to be a part of the GMG family as a mentee.

Who this program is for

Who we are

GMG is a grassroots organization started in the Bronx. Our mission is to empower female-identifying BIPOC youth through peer mentoring, exercising social skills, and building sisterhood with each other in a confidential, judgment-free environment.

We host meetings, workshops, and events, as well as offering resources to nurture the present and support the futures of the members of our program.

As a mentee, you'll spend at least five hours a month with your mentor for individual and peer mentoring, during non-school hours, and make contact with your mentor at least once a week. The minimum commitment is one year — our goal is for the relationship to last through high school graduation.
