Our Interns
Selicia Graham
Intern (Summer 22')
"Hey Hey! My name is Selicia Graham, and I'm a current senior at Brooklyn College studying Studio Art with a concentration in Digital Art. Girls Mentor Girls feels like a home away from home, and I love the amount of woman empowerment that is infused with this organization because sisterhood amongst the BIPOC community is crucial for our future. Interning here allows me to express my creativity and work on my design/branding skills all while giving back to my community-- the best of both worlds!
Michelle Guadalupe Molina
Intern (Summer 22')
"Hello! My name is Michelle Molina, and I'm a junior at Lehman College studying Media Communications Studies with a minor in Theatre where I'm a ANY NYC 2021 Fellow! I am a proud Central American, first-gen, and deeply care about my Guatemalan and Salvadoran roots! Interning at GMG is such a rewarding experience because I get to interact with others who are just as passionate in creating a change in their community. I feel very lucky to have met so many incredible people who are encouraging with one another to make a positive impact by working as a team!
Nikole Rajgor
Intern (Summer 22')
"Hi! I'm Nikole, and I'm a sophomore at Hunter College studying Media Studies with a concentration in Journalism. What I love about my work with GMG is that I feel fulfilled in the work I do knowing that I’m supporting a grassroots organization that aims to empower girls of all intersectional identities and give resources to communities in NYC, especially the Bronx. I feel really lucky to have such a compassionate boss and positive work environment in a world where that is unfortunately not the standard."
