This international day was started by the United Nations as a way to educate and empower people across the globe about issues related to young females. International Day of the Girl Child helps to empower young girls across the world.
Girls Mentor Girls took over Zambo Aroma on October 10, 2019 in celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child. We were educated about the various types of skin, helpful products to use, and ways to improve our wellness. Discussion was also about what feminism means to us and how we navigate throughout the world.
