Azaryah Woodson

Poetry allows me to express myself when I feel I can't speak. I like to spend time at home for the most part, but I enjoy picnics at the park! I love sightseeing and being able to paint with the view of nature. I like going to museums and listening to music. I have always enjoyed helping people no matter how small or big an task is and it makes me feel good. Whether I'm volunteering or helping a sibling with their homework, I enjoy the feeling of helping someone. I love my peace and having time for myself. Spending time alone allows me to see what I like about myself and allows me to get to know myself better. Girls mentor Girls creates a supportive environment and is always open to new ideas to help each other. I want to continue spreading my works of art so that other people of color know their voice matters too.
