Yahaira Ruiz-Ramierz
Mentor
"My name is Yahaira Ruiz-Ramirez, I am a mentor for GMG. I have been with this family for about a year now [since 2021] and it’s been one of the best decisions ever made. GMG is more than just an organization, it’s a family and a sisterhood and that’s something I’ve always wanted growing up in a community where I never know where and how I'd fit in. GMG keeps me grounded and reminds me to also take care of myself the same way I take care of others 🫶🏼. "
Amberly Castillo
Mentor
"My name is Amberly Castillo and I have been apart or Girls Mentor Girls since 2012, when it was formerly known as The Girls Circle. Girls Mentor Girls has helped me with my journey into becoming the successful young woman that I am today. I am proud to help it continue to provide mentorship, guidance, and opportunity for young ladies today! Having a group of women that work toward building up one another, giving back to the community, and raising awareness, helps empower ourselves. I want to continue empowering the youth of today and future generations to come. I am so grateful that GMG makes all this possible"

Mahogany Nelson
Mentor
"My name is Mahogany Nelson. I am originally from Staten Island I relocated back to NY in 2016 from Charlotte to complete my Bachelors in Legal Studies. I was introduced to GMG at an amazing event earlier this year [2022]. GMG has provided me with sisterhood, love, wellness, fun, and so much more. I am thankful to have connected with Ms. Jervis, the mentees, and the other mentors. Our group outings, events, and wellness checks keep us grounded, and that’s truly what makes GMG amazing. My goal is to continue to be a wellness and mental health advocate teaching others balance through my inner fitness journey."
